Miss Essie’s is expanding to make products available in many grocery and club stores. To find Miss Essie’s products near you, check our website or contact us and we are happy to assist you. You can also order Miss Essie’s BBQ products online through our website.
If your local retailers don’t currently carry Miss Essie’s products, please let them know about us. Retailers are encouraged to contact Miss Essie’s for more information about offering our products in their stores.

What is Miss Essie’s Mild BBQ Sauce good on?
Almost everything! Enjoy it on all your favorite grilled and roasted meats: beef, pork, chicken and fish. People also tell us they love it on potatoes, chips, eggs, beans, burritos, onions, stir-frys and salads. So just experiment and you’ll discover lots of delicious ways to enjoy Miss Essie’s Southern BBQ products.

Do Miss Essie’s BBQ Sauces need to be refrigerated?
After opening, you should always store extra BBQ Sauce in the refrigerator to maintain the flavor and freshness.
How long will unopened packages of Miss Essie’s meat products last in the refrigerator?
Every package is marked with a “Use By” or “Best By” date and should be enjoyed on or before that date. If you’d like to freeze Miss Essie’s meats to store them for up to six months, see the “Can I freeze Miss Essie’s meat?” question for details. Once you open a package, you should use the entire product within two days.
Can I freeze Miss Essie’s meat products? For how long?
For the best experience, we suggest you enjoy Miss Essie’s meats from the fresh state, but they may be frozen if needed. We recommend you don’t freeze for longer than 6 months.
Be sure to freeze on the “Use By” or “Best By” date as indicated on the package. The meat retains its best quality when frozen for no more than six months. To defrost, place the package in the refrigerator until completely thawed. Use within two days after defrosting.

Are Miss Essie’s BBQ Sauces “All Natural”?
Miss Essie’s BBQ Sauces, as regulated by the FDA, comply with standards for All Natural labeling. Miss Essie’s BBQ Sauces are free of high fructose corn syrup, preservatives and MSG. You can view ingredients and nutrition information for Miss Essie’s BBQ Sauces in the product descriptions in our online store.
Do Miss Essie’s products contain High Fructose Corn Syrup?
All Miss Essie’s BBQ Sauces and Marinades contain natural sweeteners, with no high fructose corn syrup. We encourage you to read product labels if you are concerned about any ingredients and possible allergens.
Are Miss Essie’s products Gluten Free?
Many of Miss Essie’s products do not include gluten. However, our facilities produce other products that may use gluten ingredients. So please check labels; if you need to avoid gluten, choose those Miss Essie’s products that are clearly marked as Gluten Free.
Are Miss Essie’s products Kosher?
Currently, we do not have our production facilities compliant with Kosher manufacturing practices.
Does Miss Essie’s products contain MSG?
We make every effort to use only the highest quality ingredients, which are free from preservatives and additives. However, some ingredients that we use for flavoring may have trace amounts.
